2009

In children’s institutions all over Denmark this month means dressing up to sing in front of your families, teachers and friends families. And for most it also means singing this song in church.

DISCLAIMER: I do not know these children, and they the don’t know me.

I have found out that my only exam isn’t until January 27th and all my assignments are done, so basically I have decided to be lazy this December, I have watched all the episodes of the City and the Hills, I’m currently watching the fourth season of House, does anyone have any suggestions for movies or series to watch, if you would please comment with some suggestions. I like almost everything, except for war themed stuff.

Not really I have just been watching a lot of “the City” episodes, these last couple of days.

Another Christmas song for you guys. This time I thought I would share a song in Danish, this is a song that almost every child in Denmark knows, and I love it 🙂 It’s just so happy. Some might recognize the melody, as it was taken from an American song called “Christmas Alphabet”.

“Søren Banjomus”  (Søren [the] Banjomouse)

I am able to relax; no papers, no pensum, no stress. Unfortunately it won’t last to long as I get my paper back for corrections soon, but after my last class on the 15th I can finally relax and enjoy the holidays, but for now I’m just trying to enjoy this mini-break.

My favourite version of this classic.

Glædelig 1. December (title in Danish), and remember the rubber 🙂

World AIDS day and Christmas should make you think about other people than yourself (if you don’t do that all year 😉 )

Read this article on the Huffington Post and see Twitter, Facebook and Google turning RED. You can even turn your own Facebook RED.

You can help raise awareness or just get facts for yourself. Parents, please tell your children, and children, please listen for once; it could save not only your life but also protect your loved onces from a lot of pain.

To get back to Christmas, I thought I’d share a song with you. It’s one of my favorite Christmas songs, it’s made by Danish artists, a long time ago, but it is in english.
